Develop As You Go – The Process

If you had the power to stop time, would you? What would be your hope and desire to hit pause within your world? Maybe at some point in the future, the multiverse will be revealed as a reality and time could be paused. But, for now, time runs whether we want it to or not!

This week, I wanted to share with you all the concept of developing as you go. We can’t hit pause and stop the world, it keeps on spinning and spinning.

Knowing that the world and time are continually moving forward, what does it look like for you and me to continue to progress forward and develop holistically over time? 
 


Recently my daughter was taking a defensive driving course to help in her development and growth as a teenage driver. Well, two concepts the instructor shared were:

1) As the driver, you should be looking about a half-mile or so down the road
2) Where your eyes look, your hands will follow with the steering wheel. 

Good advice for driving but also for life!

Knowing the direction you are going, gives you the confidence to live fully in the present. You are writing your own story and focused on what matter’s most for you and your life. Also, distractions affect not only your eyes, but as well as your mind, attitude, mindset, and focus! 

2 Lessons from Driving School:


1) Seeing where you want to go is key. Remember, the closer you get to where you want to go, the destination in front of you changes.

2) Where you fix your eyes, will get your attention and your focus.

Life doesn’t stop, and you won’t either. Make the most of the changes as they occur! Don’t allow distractions around you to limit or hold you back from where you want to go. Keep growing and developing as you move and navigate intentionally toward being at your best and who you are created to be in and throughout this life!

Transitions are opportunities to be taken every day!
